According to the Poker King Club, one of Macau’s busiest poker rooms based at the StarWorld Hotel – it will be organizing a super high roller tournament that “could go down in poker history books as one of the World’s largest prizepools ever seen.”
According to the Club’s official Facebook page, the tournament will take place next Friday 31st August and will be called The Macau High Stakes Challenge hosted by the Neptune Group. It is to have a staggering HK$2,000,000 buy-in with an optional HK$2,000,000 rebuy.
The Club states that high stakes specialist players like Andrew Robl, Phil Ivey and Sam Trickett, as well as world champions John Juanda, Erik Seidel, Johnny Chan and Joe Hachem, are all confirmed to play.
